Mekhriban Mamedova, business lawyer at Brooks Business Lawyers.
Mekhriban practices predominantly in the areas of business law, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, commercial contracts, and corporate strategy. She has been practicing law as a corporate lawyer both in Toronto and Kitchener/Waterloo regions of Ontario ever since 2011. Prior to joining Brooks Business Lawyers, Mekhriban worked as a senior corporate lawyer with a number of Toronto Bay Street firms and organizations, including BDO Law and TSX Trust.
Mekhriban is also active in her community, being a professional vocalist /singer with the Church of St. Peter and St. Simon the Apostle (Toronto, Ontario), and The Edison Singers (Elora, Ontario), where she is also involved in corporate governance roles, currently serving as a member of boards and chairing/participating in several executive committees.
Mekhriban received both her law degrees (Juris Doctor and Master of Laws) and her business degree (MBA) from the University of Toronto (Faculty of Law and Rotman School of Management).
